Grace Valerie-Lynette is a Sydney-based writer and producer. As a writer, she builds co-protagonist tragedies that take place in glamorized worlds, which act as a trojan horse for audiences into marginalised communities. As a producer, she works on projects that have the ability to affect real change in peoples lives across multiple mediums.

Grace has spent the early years of her career investing in the podcasting format, due to its accessibility for young writers. Her musical podcast Twinemies debuted in 2021, and garnered worldwide attention, peaking at #3 for it's genre in Australia and charting in 20 other territories. Twinemies an Apple top pick for the month of March under their ‘New and Noteworthy’ banner, a Spotify top pick for their ‘Fictional Faves’ banner, and won ‘Excellence in Creative Audio’ at the CBAA awards and ‘Best Podcast’ at Sydney WebFest. It played in various festival worldwide, garnering nominations as ‘Best New Radio Show’, ‘Best Online Content’ and ‘Best Original Score’.

Through her work on Twinemies, Grace was offered a paid mentorship with the Sydney Opera House, learning how to produce large-scale, travelling stage musicals. In 2024, Grace used this knowledge to produce the Belvoir 25A musical comedy, 'Not Now, Not Ever: A Parliament of Women' with Belvoir's Andrew Cameron fellow, Margaret Thanos.

Her latest work, a 10 minute queer musical short film titled Girl Coded, has just been produced by Bus Stop Films, and features Heartbreak High star, Chloe Hayden. It premiered nationally at the Brisbane International Film Festival, and internationally at the BFI-supported Oska Bright Film Festival. It has recently been chosen for the NewFilmmakers Festival in LA, and has continued it's travels worldwide in 4 more well-recognised festivals, including Australia's top short film competition - the St Kilda Film Festival.

Grace currently works as a Podcast Development Producer at Storyglass UK/FremantleMedia Australia. There, she has produced 3 seasons of Sleep Sound for Audible Australia (Cody Simpson, Natalie Imbruglia and Pallavi Sharda), and Audible's #1 title of 2023 Sex Therapy: Sessions with Chantelle Otten.

Her most recent podcast is Sweat Daily with Kayla Itsines, hosted by the personal trainer with over 40 million combined social followers - Kayla Itsines. In it's first week of release, it hit #1 in 17 territories for fitness.

For her work in podcasting, Grace has won the Rising Star Awards at the Australian Podcast Awards.
